Abstract:This thesis is based on the financial concept of sustainable development, and introduces the concept of financial sustainability and sustainable development of rural credit cooperatives content. Combined with the theory of sustainable development of rural credit cooperatives and it’s influencing factors, it establishes an evaluation model for sustainable development of rural credit cooperatives, and then builds the SDI index. Establishing SDI index rating system, this thesis analyzes the abstract concept of sustainable development of rural credit cooperatives, and solves the difficulty of measurement via collecting the credit public information and data of rural credit cooperatives. Using the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, this thesis testifies it viable to establish the evaluation system of the sustainable development of rural credit cooperatives. Meanwhile, it gives the descriptive statistical analysis of the status of the sustainable development of rural credit cooperatives. As a result, the rural credit cooperatives Hunan Sustainability Index is not high on the whole. It indicates that co-operative is still in the initial stage, of which the proportion is24.3%. In addition, the sustainable development index of the credit unions is affected by the environment of economic development.On this basis, the thesis further analyzes the relationship between the sustainable development of the rural credit cooperative and the rural economic growth. It indicates that the sustainable development of rural credit cooperatives can promote local economic development as well as the economic level. Therefore, it is necessary to attach importance to the sustainable development of the rural credit cooperative. The thesis analyzes the safeguard measure of the sustainable development of rural credit cooperatives from the aspects of the property orders, profit model, risk management, and the environment of policy and economy.
