Land is the most basic natural resources for human survival and development, landproperties include natural and economic attribute, the former is the land, it will not easilychange in a short period of time; the latter mainly reflect the relationship between man andland in the process of human land using. With the development of society and the humanpursuit of a higher life quality, human beings trying to develop and utilize the landeveryday, the land cover has undergone great changes, land use and land cover change hasbecome the main driving force of ecological environment changes, derived from manyecological environment problems, these problems affects human’s life in return. In theprocess of the sustainable development strategy which advocated by human beings, theresearch on land use and land cover change which is one of the most important researchcontents since twentieth Century has been attached great importance.This thesis take The Fuhe upstream as study area, using the high resolution satellite remotesensing images of1995,2000,2005and2010four period as the main data source, remotesensing and GIS technology based method, the artificial visual interpretation, acquired fourland use/cover information. Using a single dynamic degree of land use, the extent of landuse, land use/cover change matrix and dynamic change model, reveals the Fuhe upstreamregion of1995-2010years of land use and land cover changes. And the application of theprinciples of landscape ecology, patch type level and landscape level indices of landscapepattern, through the Fragstats3.3software to calculate the quantitative description of thelandscape pattern. At the same time statistics for social and economic research area as thefoundation, under the support of SPSS, using principal component analysis of the effect ofFu upstream of regional land use and land cover change driving force analysis, so as toprovide a theoretical basis for making the Fuhe upstream land use of sustainabledevelopment and ecological environment construction of macro policy and implementation.Through the research, the main conclusions obtained are as follows:(1)TheFuhe upstream area of land use types are farmland and woodland, woodland areaaccounted for more than70%of the research area, it is the most widely distributed of landuse type. Cultivated area ranked second, around21%of the total area. Overall bothwoodland and cultivated land area accounted for more than90%of the total area, grassland,water, construction land and unused land accounted for a smaller proportion, less than8%of the total area.(2) The Fuheupstream region of1995-2010yearsin various stages of land use/land covertypes changed significantly. Look from whole, cultivated land, grassland area decreasedcontinuously, the farmland transfer than into, mainly shift out for the constructionoccupancy and the waters, a total area reduced6422.5hm2, grassland flow direction is mainly afforestation, area reduces11954.47hm2; woodland, water area and constructionland area continued to grow, to greater than out, in which the forest transfer is the mainsource of grassland, roll out flow to cultivated land and grassland, a total area increased to12624.27hm2; the water area increased by1470hm2; construction land mainly divertedfrom cultivated land, cultivated land area is out of the main flow, an increase of4325.86Hm2, unused land area decreased with the land development, changed a little.(3) From the Fuhe upstream of regional land use/Cover Change Characteristics and stateindex types,1995-2010overall, cultivated land, grassland and unused land the single landuse dynamic index of less than0, decreasing area, and the decline of fierce; woodland,water area and construction land the single land use dynamic more than0, area increased.Land use degree is lower than the national average level,1995-2000and2000-2005twostages of change of land use degree and land use degree change rate is less than0, theperiod of regional land use is in a recession, the land use degree should be furtherimproved,2005-2010years of land use change and dynamic degree of land use change rateis greater than0, land use of this area is in a period of development.(4) Calculated from the Fuhe upstream region of each ecological landscape index and theanalysis of results, the overall landscape types are in an unstable state, the landscapeecological process is active, the difference between the larger landscape patches, largenumber of patch increased, reducing the number of plaques, degree of fragmentation andlandscape diversity decreased slightly.(5)The Fuheupstream of regional land use/cover driving forces of qualitative description,the establishment of the index system and the correlation analysis, principal componentanalysis results show that the driving forces of land use change greatly enhanced, theimpact of human activities on land use change in the upstream region of Fuhe isstrengthening. The social and economic development, population growth and agriculturaltechnological progress, these three factors are the dominant factor of the land use changeof Fuhe upstream.
