With the development of economic globalization and financial integration process, in whichChina’s commercial banks and financial environment are constantly changing. From the internationalfinancial market, as competition intensifies, Mixed trend is the world’s financial industry. China’scommercial banks business model implemented by the multi-stage impact and enormous challenges,so adjust business strategy to strengthen the integration of resources, changing the operating mode willbe the future direction of commercial bank efforts. China’s commercial banks operating mode selectedsub-sector to absorb deposits, loans, an increase in earnings as the main feature, has been unable toadapt to the economic environment, the need for changes in the market environment and the regulatoryenvironment, while also restricting the in-depth development of China’s market economy. This articlefrom Western countries experienced commercial bank business model, China’s commercial banksgradually shift from separate operation mode to Mixed mode analyzes and proposed steps to implementrecommendations.This paper discusses the transformation of the business model of China’s commercial banks fromfour aspects. First in management and economics theory, the analysis of commercial banks in thechoice of business model, not only to consider the possibility of economies of scale, risk iscontrollable, while also considering whether to produce a synergistic effect. Secondly Experience, theUnited States, Germany, the two countries typical commercial bank operating modes are morecomprehensive analysis, especially through the U.S. financial holding company system typicalrepresentative system of universal banks Citigroup and Deutsche Bank typical case analysis, and thetwo modes are compared. Again summarizes the three stages of development of China’s commercialbanks operating mode, status of commercial banks for distribution of structural funds, capitalefficiency, capital adequacy and profitability, the necessity and feasibility of the proposed commercialbank business model transformation. Finally, learn from foreign commercial banks raised our successfulbusiness model to choose Mixed mode, in which the financial holding company is the realistic choiceof universal banking business model, and taking full account of the development of China’s commercialbanks, from the macro environment, risk prevention and cost-benefit analysis of three aspects, provideinformation on the environment and a clear understanding of their commercial banks in China.However, China’s commercial banks need gradual transformation of the business model in the processof transformation of the business model of the industry to Mixed mode, should take positive robustthree-step strategy: First, expand the commercial banking business within the existing legal framework;the second is to promote the gradual improvement of laws, regulations and financial regulatory system;Third, the full implementation of Mixed mode.
