From2012, the Banking Regulatory Commission, remaining the comparatively lowerincreasing level of the banking loan, vigorously adjusts and optimizes the credit structure tofree up funds and expand the scale of agriculture related credit, which indicates that thefinancial institutions take their effort to provide financial support to farmers aiming to ensurethe sustainable investment of rural micro-credit.However, many repayment problems ofmicro-credit become more and more prominent. The non-performing loan ratios of someregions have been increasing year by year which seriously hamper the sustainabledevelopment of micro-credit. Especially under the condition of increasing competition ofrural financial market, rural financial institutions are worried about losing the customers, therefor ignoring the pre-loan investigation. All the above not only lead to the lack ofconsiderations on the special characteristics of the repayment resources, but also the short ofthe necessary quantitative test on the influencing factors. Therefore, the first repaymentresource is the key method to guard against credit risk. Only by fully understanding theinfluencing factors of the first source of repayment, we could find the radical approach toenhance the first repayment resource, and then the financial institutions could provide betterfinancial services for farmers. Finally, we can get that deeply and clearly understand theinfluencing factors of the micro-credit have important theory contributions and practicesignificance. The thesis totally includes five parts: the first part discusses the background of the topic, research target, meanings and the innovations; the second part introduces related theoreticalfoundations, which firstly define the concept of repayment resources, secondly the theoreticalfoundations such as the influencing factor theory of micro-credit, credit risk theory, andinternal relations of credit rating and credit risk control theory.Chapter three describes thecurrent repayment situations and the existing problems in the process of repayment ofmicro-credit. Chapter four analyzes the investigated data, especially studies the currentinfluencing factors of first repayment resource. Beside, this chapter uses the Logistic model toquantitative analyze the representative indicators, getting the significant influencing factors offirst resource repayment. In addition, this chapter gets the credit rating system based on the clustering analysis method. Starting from the real interests of farmers and the rural financialinstitutions, this chapter puts forward feasible measures, policy and suggestions to improvefarmers’ income level and the first repayment resource of micro-credit.The results of the research indicate that:(1) among these influencing factors of firstrepayment resource, farmers’ gender, the income of the households, family size, loan periodand natural disasters have significant negative influence;(2) from the important degree of theinfluencing factors, the exterior factors are much more important than farmer themselveswhich reveal that the financial institutions’ loan policies and the government’s subsidypolicies are lagging and deviation in the process of formulating and implementing. Thus, thelocal government should fully consider the individual characteristics when implementing thecentral government’s subsidy policies to improve the local farmers’ human capital, andfundamentally solve the farmers’ income problems and enhance the proportion of the firstrepayment resource;(3) the empirical results of Logistic analysis and clustering analysismethod more accurately show the relationship between the elements of household creditrationing and the evaluation outcomes. The model complements rural financial institutiontheory system about credit risk. Meanwhile, rural finance theory has also been improved to acertain extent.
