As a financial innovation in the 20th century, Micro-credit is developed by developing countries and international institutions to raise the income of low-income groups. It has experienced the development and integration of welfare-type and system-type, and gotten to success when micro-credit experimenters combine the practice with their national condition. To run a micro-credit project, the practitioners have to take working measures depending not only on identifying its aim from aid-the-poor or making a profit, but also on understanding the environment of economy, society and culture and the characters of service object. This research explains the origin of different risk elements of rural micro-credit which serving for those making living on traditional farm production. From the aspect of different source, risk elements can be classified as institution internal risk, external environment risk and debtor risk. After analyzing the risk from the debtor aspect, which can be divided into repayment-will risk and repayment-source risk, a conclusion can be made that the instability of income is the key reason.Based on the above introduction, this article introduces three present effective risk control measures to prevent risk generating from uncertain of repayment-will, such as group leading, frequent repayment and dynamic incentive. Then, it focuses on discussing about the precaution against risk generating from uncertain of repayment-source, and makes suggestions to establish effective cooperation with agricultural insurance, agricultural cooperation institutions and agricultural enterprises.
