The Study On Public Acceptance Of Nuclear Power Based On Game Model

Nuclear power, which is consider as low carbon, environmentprotection,efficient green energy resources, in twenty-first Century when fossilenergy become less and less and greenhouse become worse and worse,is more andmore popular around the world.In March11,2011,the Fukushima nuclear accident inJapan,which made the whole world thrown into nuclear panic and the publicintimidated,seriously affected the development of nuclear power. How to make thepublic accept the nuclear power, which is problem that it is urgent to solve forlong-term development of nuclear power. The thesis is designed to study publicacceptance about nuclear power, a two-side game model is constructed between thepublic and nuclear enterprise,The equilibrium results is simulated, in order to identifyits impact factors, then determine the direction and degree of each impact factors topublic acceptance. In accordance with the simulation results, the paper will putforward some specific comments to improve public acceptance about nuclear power.The study results at home and abroad is firstly summarized in the paper,Thenthe expression of public acceptance about present situation. an complete informationstatic game model is established between the public and nuclear enterprise, gamecountermeasures is analyzed based on Nash equilibrium.After that, we carry on somesimulation experiments with the help of Matlab. Different parameter values causedifferent simulation results and we obtain the direction and degree of each impactfactors to public acceptance.The simulation results show that the cost that people study nuclear knowledgehave negative correlation with public acceptance, the benefit that people get fromnuclear company have positive correlation with public acceptance, the reward that people find illegal behavior of nuclear company have positive correlation with publicacceptance, the loss that people indulge illegal behavior of nuclear company havepositive correlation with public acceptance.Based on the above Simulation results, the relevant departments should makesome policies to improve public acceptance about nuclear power constantly, such asIntroducing the nuclear knowledge to persons, establishing the public participationmechanism, benefiting persons,and promoting the supervision mechanism, toimprove public acceptance, enable the public to better understand, approval, acceptnuclear power, promote the development of Chinese nuclear power efficiently andfastly.
