Research On The Spatial Distribution And Development Of Electronic Information Industry In Chongqing

With the promotion of the world economy development by the information revolution, the using of the computer and Internet play the most important role. Because of high technology, high added value and low pollution, the information industry has become a pillar industry which developed countries are competing to develop. Since the reforming and opening, China has become the world’s factory due to the policy and labor surplus. Many worldwide machineries of the information industry relocated in China, which made the economic take-off of Dongguan and Shenzhen. But the relocated production processes are not in the favorable positions of the industrial chain. China needs to take the opportunity to adjust the industrial structure in the new trend, moving from "Made in China" to "Created in China".Recent years the economy of Chongqing has been in the forefront in the nation, as the only one municipality established in the west of China. Information industry has become the biggest industry in the modern industrial structure which contents other six important industries-automotive industry、equipment manufacturing industry、chemical industry、material industry、energy industry and consumer goods industry. So it has very important academic and practical significance in doing research on the spatial distribution and development of information industry in Chongqing.Base on the background above, the research combines different kinds of methods, such as theoretical analysis, quantitative analysis, comparative analysis. This paper is divided into six chapters, by raising, analyzing and solving problems.In chapter one, the objectives and meanings of the research have been proposed.In chapter two, it is focused on the theoretical foundation of the paper, including relevant researches done before, basic concepts and theories, data have been used.In chapter three, the outline of Chongqing has been draw first. It consists of main area characteristic, economic profile, major industries of Chongqing. Then it analyzes the basic rules and the chief features of the spatial alternation of information industry in Chongqing. At last, it reviews the course of the development of the industry, getting the conclusion by compare.In chapter four, static analysis has been made. The level of spatial concentration has been mined by variation coefficients. The analysis of input and output is important to indentify the position and function of the information industry in the Chongqing industrial structure.In chapter five, finding the problems and the ways of solving are the main ideas, not only in the overall development, but also in the spatial distribution and industrial development.In chapter six, after the theoretical analysis and the quantitative analysis, main conclusions are got. The study of this theme in the future has been brought forward.
