Research Of Development Problems And Solutions Of The Farmers’Professional Cooperatives In Bazhong

Since the1990s, with the continuous improvement and development of Chinese socialist market economic system, market economy is playing an increasingly important role in the national economy. The decentralized and small-scaled traditional mode of operation with the single farmers as the main part obviously cannot meet the needs of market economy. There is an urgent need to find a new mode of operation of agriculture. It is in this context that specialized farmer cooperative, a new agricultural business entity, came into being. This kind of cooperative handles the production, the operation and the management of agriculture uniformly by putting farmers together. This mode can not only reduce the cost and save the fees of transaction, but also enhance the ability to withstand market risks. And the most important thing is that it can improve the operational efficiency of agricultural product, thereby increase the income of farmers. Developing specialized farmer cooperatives plays an important role in solving the "three rural" problems. In recent years, the party and government attach great importance to the development of specialized farmer cooperatives. July1,2007,"Specialized farmer cooperatives in people’s republic of China" was formally promulgated and the specialized farmer cooperative was brought into the legal system, which will help the Chinese specialized farmer cooperatives develop healthily and rapidly.This paper selects specialized farmer cooperatives in Bazhong as the research object, and it analyzes the current development situation, restrictive factors, and problems of specialized farmer cooperatives in Bazhong as well as puts forward some suggestions on promoting the development of local specialized farmer cooperatives. It aims to provide an idea and reference for the local government, and help to boost the development of specialized farmer cooperatives in Bazhong, and then strengthen the local rural economy and increase local farmers’income and living standards as well. This article mainly consists of six parts. The first part introduces the research background and significance of the study, and some literature on specialized farmer cooperatives at home and abroad is also classified and observed.In the second part, it mainly defines the concepts of specialized farmer cooperatives and agribusiness, and the specialized farmer cooperatives operating system is also briefly introduced. In the third part, in order to know about the current developmental situation of Bazhong specialized farmer cooperatives better, it describes the overall situation and the main types of Bazhong specialized farmer cooperatives, the current situation of college graduates participating in specialized farmer cooperatives as well as the information about rural land circulation. The fourth part deals with some specific case analysis about Bazhong specialized farmer cooperatives. The fifth part analyzes the main restrictive factors and problems of the development of specialized farmer cooperatives in Bazhong. The sixth part puts forward some choices and suggestions in accordance with the government functions and specializedfarmer cooperatives own building, which may promote the development of specialized farmer cooperatives in Bazhong.
