With the rapid development of China financial, the competition between the commercial bank are becoming more and more intense. In the fierce market competition, as the core to maintain customers, customer managers’work directly affect the competitiveness of commercial bank in the market. Therefore, build a scientific performance evaluation system to improve the customer managers’ performance is very important to commercial bank.This article combined with the author’s5years experience in S Bank Chengdu branch, use many methods likes case study, literature and comparative analysis, to research customer manager performance evaluation system in S Bank Chengdu branch. First this article introduce the purpose and significance, ideas and methods, then introduce the theory of performance evaluation, and then contrast and analyze the status of customer managers’performance evaluation between domestic and foreign commercial banks. They establish theoretical and practical basis for this article. On this basis, the author analyze the status of performance evaluation system of S Bank Chengdu Branch, and analyze the problems and causes. Finally, use KPI to design the performance evaluation system of S Bank Chengdu branch.Based on KPI, This articler determines indicators from finance, marketing, risk management and customer managers’abilities, attempts to build a scientific and effective customer manager performance evaluation system, and use the results to assess customer manager’s grade, bonus, post adjustment, training and education, promotion, development and so on. So as to excite customer manager’s enthusiasm, and enhance the competitiveness of commercial banks. The article’s concludes may use for reference to other commercial banks.
