| Modern agriculture is a new stage of agricultural development history Sichuan is a big agriculture province in our country, and the development of modern agriculture in hilly region of Sichuan is directly related with the development of the province.The hilly area of Sichuan agricultural development foundation is weak, the rural poor infrastructure, low overall quality of farmers, during the development of modern agriculture problems still more.In this paper, the current factors that restrict the development of modern agriculture in hilly area of Sichuan are expounded. The author elaborates related theories on the development of modern agriculture. Mainly includes:circular economy theory, ecological agriculture theory and organic agriculture theory.The analytic hierarchy process (APH) is used, then the weights between the factors of modern agricultural development evaluation system in hilly area of Sichuan were determined, the evaluation index system of modern agriculture in a hilly area is established.The system consists of4general indexes,7main indexes and21groups of indicators, can reflect a regional development level of modern agriculture.Based on field investigation, interview, discussion, and refer to the related historical data, the direction of development of modern agriculture in hilly area of Sichuan and realization are described in detail. In hilly area of Sichuan to realize modern agriculture, we must adhere to scientific development, adhere to the industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization development, rational use of existing resources, improve the external environment; we must carry out strategic adjustment of the agricultural structure, the transformation of agricultural growth mode, the establishment of a modern agriculture industry system; we must increase financial input to agriculture, innovation and development system and mechanism, to play the functions of the local government; must form a perfect modern agriculture industry chain, support leading agricultural enterprises, cultivate large family farms, drive the owners, professional cooperative organization, model management main body; must rely on modern science and technology to improve the agricultural economic benefits, make full use of modern machinery and equipment, to accelerate the promotion of new varieties, application of new technology, the cultivation of a number of new occupation farmer.This thesis presents the leading enterprise type, technology park type and mountain horticultural type patterns of modern agricultural development in the hilly area of Sichuan, and analyzes its.Each one has his good points.
