The overall trend of China’s food and the Southern food, change has been ashortage of more than to balance, the trend of the development of agriculture, thetransformation of resource constrained single factor into the double pressure ofresources and demand. Since joining WTO, agriculture will face double challenges ofregional markets and interval market, therefore in urgent need of the strategicadjustment of agriculture.This paper is based on the statistics yearbook data of Aksu city and the fieldsurvey data, using the mechanism methodology, soil temperature required by cropgradually decay, analyzed the main crop production potential of Aksu city. The resultsof the analysis and comparison of the realistic productivity, agricultural developmentdirection of Aksu city. And for the next30years, the population of the city of Aksuand the factors of market demand prediction. Finally, combined with the actualsituation in the region, the agricultural development model and developmentcountermeasures.(1) With GIS software to study the potential of agricultural production, on theone hand can effectively and accurately analyze data; on the other hand, consideringthe impact of natural factors in the area of agricultural development.(2) Reference model and the calculation method of the previous research onagricultural production potential of this model, was used to investigate the effectivemechanism of land potential coefficient method of correction, not only can analyzethe effective and accurate, and can be integrated into many effects of natural factorson land production potential. To provide the basis for the main crops in Aksu cityfarming arrangements and agricultural production.(3) All kinds of correction coefficient is an important agricultural productionconditions, this paper selected the coefficient to verify compliance with the study area,the relatively better associated with the actual situation in the region, that the selection of model suitable for agricultural development in the area, and then put forward theagriculture sustainable development countermeasures are: strengthen agriculturaldevelopment strength, advantageous resources transformation; vigorously thedevelopment of large agricultural; improve the irrigation technology, promotingwater-saving irrigation, improve the efficiency of water use, irrigation waste waterprohibited acts; to improve the basic conditions, provide a healthy environment forthe agricultural investment; based on scientific and technological strength, raise theeconomic level; the protection of the ecological environment, promote the sustainabledevelopment of agriculture.(4) The relationship between agricultural development mode and market as wellas the demographic effects, so by using the method of regression analysis and dataprocessing software, the development of the future30years of Aksu city population,market demand and other factors were predicted. Finally according to the actualsituation of the region development pattern: cotton, fruits and supplemented by thedevelopment model and combined with farming and animal husbandry developmentmode.In general, the study results are consistent with the overall situation of Aksu City,on the rational use of land in Aksu city and has a guiding role to increase foodproduction, and provide scientific basis for the adjustment of agricultural structure inAksu city.
