With the impulse of investment and consumption, tourism industry has embraced a golden age and a rapid development in our country which tourism investment plays a major role in it. However, there are so many issues especially lack of perfect investment mechanism, reasonable structure and clear financing channels existing in investment limited the development of tourism industry as a bottleneck, so the study provides theoretical guidance in the investment has become an urgent demand for the tourism development in our country. The existing referenced research production has not created a theoretical framework of tourism investment yet, the related research methods have been based on the qualitative research such as problem description and case study. These analyses usually provide certain solutions mainly originated from experiences of solving regional and special cases, the study of it have not being regarded. So it’s an important problem to be resolved to fill the gaps and play the advantages of market-oriented investment model and state-oriented investment model. How to establish the specific modes based on the different landscapes, how to find innovative ways of putting capital into tourist attractions, these are the questions that the paper intends to explore in order to create the overall investment system and promote sustainable development.In recent years, tourism industry has embraced a golden age and a rapid development, the paper reviews and summarizes the related research in the field of tourism by the domestic and foreign scholars, the author defines the concepts involved in the analysis based on the public goods theory, investment theory and the development of economic theory. From the macroscopic point of view, the article discusses the general situation of China’ tourism investment including tourism investment sources, distribution of investment flows and fields of investment, so as to analyzes the difficulties existing in the current tourism investment. Market-oriented investment model and state-oriented investment model is the main type of China’tourism investment, so next the paper selected the models to study. Next to that comes the most important part of the paper, based on the value of its tourism resources and products in the tourist attractions, the author tries to build up the specific modes for the different types of tourist attractions, one kind is rely on the original landscape, and the other is on the artificial landscape. Depending on all above studies, the author proposed solving approaches in order to provide new methods and develop directions for the investment in China’tourist attraction and there is both a theory and a practice value of its own.The main innovations of this dissertation are as follows:firstly, on the basis of classificatory introduction of the tourist resources and products, the article presents different modes while the government and the market play different roles in them. Secondly, the article builds up two main investment modes by considering the characteristics of the tourist attractions. Ultimately, targeted policy recommendations including strengthening physical infrastructure, operating certain modes of tourism investment, broadening financing channels and improving the investment environment to be proposed, which is useful for the development of the tourism investment in China...
