Since entering the new era of reform and opening up, with the changes in theeconomic system and social structure, traditional leadership has been unable to meetthe development requirements of the new era gradually. Therefore, leadership requiresto keep with the times constantly, and adding new elements, in order to deal withchallenges caused by problems. In today’s society, people are unhappy at work hasbecome a common phenomenon, despite the many reasons for this phenomenon, theleader as a key factor of the organization, inevitably has a close relationship with this.Happy leadership is emerged in this context. Happy leadership is presented as the newtheory, in line with the development requirements of the times, must be able to occupyan important position in the leadership.This article starts from researching happiness index and related theory, makingsubordinates achieving happiness as the center, analyzing the influencing factors ofhindering happy leadership. For the purpose of letting subordinates convince leaders,analyzing what are the basic elements the leaders should have to achieve happyleadership, and as the core content of the entire happy leadership’s basic framework.Meanwhile, the article also refers to relevant theoretical results of happy managementmodels, and proposing to viable methods and ways of achieving happy leadership.The thesis including seven sections: the first section is introduction, includingresearch background, selected topic significance, literature review, research ideas andcontents, research methods and innovations; The second section is the relatedconcepts about happy leadership, meanings and characteristics of happy leadership;The third section mainly introduces the theoretical foundation of happy leadership,including hierarchy of need theory, EQ theory and happiness theory; The fourthsection introduces the main obstructive factors of happy leadership; The fifth sectionintroduces the basic components of happy leadership; The sixth section proposesapproaches of achieving happy leadership around how to work happily; The seventhsection is the conclusion of all thesis.
