In this paper, We Take place in breeding base for research object, in view of the status of raising chickens located in the anise forests of Ze Gu parvial field of the Pai Yang Shan forest farm in Guangxi, relying on existing breeding technology and the high quality resources, to conduct scientific research activities about raising chickens and survey the effect of raising chickens in anise forests on undergrowth biomass, soil physical and chemical properties. We comprehend sivly analysis the raising chickens economic, social and ecological benefits of octagonal forests and offer scientific decision for economic development of forest undergrowth, so as to find a more scientific breeding technology and method, forming a set of scientific and systemic raising chickens mode, to strengthen forest economy industry. Thus, we provide theoretical basis for raising-chickens mode in anise forests. The main results are as follows:1. According to the survey, we found that the height, diameter at breast height, crown breadth, fruit-set rate, fruit diameter of anise tree and the average single fruit weight has the varying degree enhancement than that of not raising chicken’s business model in forests, the height of the tree and the average single weight among them have the most obvious in creasement by5.1%and5.1%respectively. According to the determination of anise physiological index,we found that net photo synthetic rate (Pn), transpiration rate (Tr), stomatal conductance (Gs)in two operating mode show unimodal curve change, conversely, star anise intercellular CO2concentration (Ci) daily change curve is a "U" shaped curve. Anise leaf chlorophyll content, leaf transpiration rate, stomatal conductance (Gs), intercellular CO2concentration (Ci) of raising chicken in forest increased by49.3%,140%,48.4%and17.9%respectively than that of not raising chicken.2. Soil capillary pore of different soil layer under two management pattern of anise forests in the Yang Shan forest farm is less than6%, the differences of natural water content, maximum water holding capacity, capillary water holding capacity and field capacity are not obvious, indicating that anise forest growth in the area has strong adaptability. The soil pH value in two management way of octagon forests is less than4.5, the surface soil pH value decreased more obvious, but there is no obvious difference between the different management approaches in the same layers. Soil total nitrogen content of anise forest of Yang Shan forest farm places in two kinds of management pattern is0.96~1.36g/kg., according to the Interim technical regulations of second soil census in China both reach more than medium level; Upper soil hydrolysis nitrogen reaches moderate levels, the lower soil is the low levels; As with soil depth increase soil organic matter contents increase. The obvious downward trend, while the surface soil organic matter content of chicken model is slightly lower than that of not chicken; the contents of soil total phosphorus, available phosphorus, available potassium are not high and less than the critical value belongs to low levels.3. The meat quality indicators of Chicken meat, tender meat, fat mass fraction, not saturated fatty acid ratio and so on of Anise forests have reached or exceed the national standard of level one chickens, the chicken meat quality is better, more nutritious, stronger immunity than that of high-quality circle chickens in market. In addition, the cholesterol content of egg yolk in anise forests is significantly lower than the content of goods.
