Traffic is a significant carrier of completing flow and transfer of the space, such aspeople, logistics and information, which plays an important role in the social and economicdevelopment. Traffic impact on regional development mainly performs in the promotion orrestriction for a region caused by its highway, classified highway, railway and other singletransport networks. Meanwhile, it also performs in the promotion or restriction for a regionbecause of its highway, classified highway, railway, aviation and other comprehensivetransportation systems. Accessibility is an important index for evaluating the regional trafficsituation. It is great significance to make a comprehensive analysis of accessibility of theregion for mastering the regional traffic conditions.The economic development and social progress of the old northeast economic zoneachieved positive and gratifying achievements, after more than10years’ implementation ofrejuvenating northeast old industrial base strategy. With the high-speed of economicdevelopment, the area puts forward higher request for the development of transportation. Forexample, how to realize the efficient utilization of the existing traffic facilities, and how toimplement the high guarantee of the economic development caused by transport, and achievehigh-speed flow of people, logistics, and information flow. Also, making regionaltransportation network system and promoting regional economic development are offar-reaching significance to fully implement the target of revitalization.Based on the study of research background as well as the understanding of the northeasteconomic circle and the present traffic situation, this article discusses the related concepts andevaluation methods on traffic accessibility. Space differential evaluation should be taken inorder to evaluate the traffic accessibility of the single traffic and comprehensive traffic to thenortheast economic zone. And discuss the spatial correlation characteristics betweentransportation and population as well as economy.This paper starts with two directions, which are the analysis of single transportaccessibility and comprehensive transportation accessibility, with the fully consideration ofresearch cost, using two kinds of methods to solve complex degree of different trafficNetwork accessibilities. One is based on the combination of MapInfo and Excel method tosolve the Network accessibility and the other is based on ArcGIS software using "the Networkanalyst" extension module to solve accessibility. And calculate the accessibility based ontraffic distance and time. Then analyze the comprehensive traffic accessibility from a single traffic composite effect and a comprehensive traffic network analysis as a whole. And throughbeing given the equal-weight superposition method, the result coming from these twomethods mentioned above has more realistic comprehensive traffic accessibility. The wholeanalysis considers various factors, from multiple perspectives, using many methods,combining the individual and the entirety. To compare the different analysis results, highlightand response the impacts on the entire region caused by the key factors and traffic route. Theaim is to have an objective evaluation to the northeast economic zone traffic developmentlevel, and have a deep analysis of the northeast economic circle on traffic issue. Even reflectthe northeast economic zone traffic space distribution more truly and accurately, whichprovides theoretical basis and scientific support for future traffic planning design anddevelopment in the northeast economic zone.
