Agricultural Industry Clusters Cultivation In Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture

Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture is the only region entering the country’s westerndevelopment range in Hunan Province. It’s also the main battlefield pilot area during“the12th5year” period and the demonstration area of regional development andpoverty alleviation. As one of the leading local industry, agriculture has irreplaceablesignificance for increasing poor farmers’ income. Xiangxi is rich and diverse in naturalresources, but poor in refined agricultural products and agricultural added value.Producers emphasis on production and scale but circulation, so they generally faceddistribution and trading difficulties. Beside, agricultural products traded in single way;land to grow crops to change quickly, farmers and company have difficulties incooperation; financing difficulties; agricultural information service system’simperfection, etc. These problems lead to farmers’ income difficulties. This paperexplores the new model in the development of the agricultural industry in Xiangxi underthe market economy. It’s a new model breaking the traditional path of development,based on taking a new road to industrialization, transformation of traditional agricultureat the expense of resources at the expense of low growth, embarking on conservationand rational use of existing resources, and promoting the healthy development of theagricultural industry. It addresses how to transfer resources for real output, andimproves agriculture, rural area as well as the status of the farmers at the same time.Thus agricultural industry cluster is a right way for the realization of endogenoushematopoietic and regional anti-poverty. This paper systematically reviews thetheoretical literature on domestic agricultural industry clusters. This paper summarizesthe advantages and bottlenecks in the agricultural industry clusters cultivation, anddiscusses the agricultural industry clusters cultivation models and approaches from thereality of Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture.
