The paper research content is how to apply quality control tools to SMT process. Quality control tools applied in paper include:questionnaire, pareto diagram, cause and effect diagram, P control charts, variance analysis, orthogonal test, process capability. The seven quality control improvement tools that are combined application analysis are defined as the "new seven application control combination tool".In this paper, through to the theory of seven combination tools, combining with the specific process--SMT process, theory combined with practice, these solving production quality problems encountered in the process of SMT process.In seven quality control tools used in the process, they are closely linked. Between each kind of quality tools, every effective output closely links with the next effective input of application tools. In paper, all kinds of charts clearly are used that shows each analysis process and the result of the analysis. It optimizes the production process parameters of the SMT process, and finally reaches the purpose that controls the production process of SMT process and improves product quality.The application of quality control tools used in the paper has the characteristics of simple, effective, and strong operability. The process of composite applications is very suitable for quality control process in field work. It helps to tell you how to use these quality control tools to assist in qualitative and quantitative analysis for your testing project, and to provide scientific basis and judgment for the analysis and problem solving.
