Base on this, countries around the world turn its attention about economicdevelopment to energy saving to look for a sustainable way. In such cases, energyconservation service industry that base on energy performance contracting spring upin secret around the world; however it is a highly uneven development from a globalperspective. Though rapidly does energy conservation service industry of the Chinadevelop in recent years, many problems exist in the development process, farthermore there is still a huge gap by comparison with Western developed countries. Lastly, althoughHangzhou’s integral scale can’t compare with Shanghai, Beijing and others, it isdeveloping and strengthening in recent years, so its impact on the entire industry can’tbe ignored. Learned from the media and websites, industrial agglomeration aboutenergy conservation service is often mentioned. However, how are the performance ofindustrial agglomeration and what influence the performance? Both have yet todemonstration analysis. Therefore, whether Hangzhou has concentration phenomenonabout this industry?In this paper, theoretical analysis and cross-sectional data analysis are theprimary research method. Through collecting and combing the theoretical of industrial agglomeration and actor-network theory literature in detail, we draw onprevious studies’ results and lack or limitations. Base on this, we get a researchapproach and build an analytical framework about the formation mechanism of energyconservation service industry’s gathering network: The mainly analysis methods thatwe use to interpret industrial agglomeration are evolutionary game and equilibrium.Combining with the characters of energy saving service industry, an econometricmodel is set up by using agglomeration performance as dependant variable andenterprise capacities, networking intensity and networking environments asexplanatory variables.103recorded enterprises in Hangzhou energy saving serviceindustrial agglomeration district are chosen as sample data with questionnaire surveyto conduct quantitative study to actor-network theory by statistical analysis, factoranalysis and regression analysis.Through a theoretical analysis of the mechanism of agglomeration in energyconservation service industry and an empirical research of factors that affect theperformance of industrial agglomeration base on the relationship between industrialagglomeration and actor-network theory, we draw the following conclusions: First,translation theory can well explain the mechanism of agglomeration in this industry.Obligatory passage point emerged from translation process, which makes actorsseeking profit choose to join the network, subsequently generating agglomeration. Inother words, ANT can explain why industry forms agglomeration. Second, localgovernment and enterprises occupy the dominant position in this network. Inparticular, the government can take different measures affecting financial institutions,research and development institutions, energy use organizations and enterprises, thenpromoting or accelerating the energy conservation service industry generate cluster.Lastly, there are many factors influencing this industry, such as government level,R&D level, etc. And we also find Hangzhou’s energy conservation service industry isin the growth stage. In addition, vulnerable relation network is dominating the growthof agglomeration performance.Compare with previous studies on industrial agglomeration and social networkanalysis, this paper get a theoretical innovation from the research perspective. First,we explain the mechanism of energy saving service industry agglomeration, usingevolutionary game analysis the cooperation among different actors and theequilibrium stability. Base on the process of translation, we construct an industrycluster network. Second, combining the influencing factors in aspects of gathering performance, we establish a theoretical model to analyze how many factorsinfluencing the energy saving service’s agglomeration performance in Hangzhou.Finally, according to the metering results, promote some policy recommendations thathave relations with actor-network. |
