With the coming of the present era characterized in the rapid spread,possession,use and competition of technology, knowledge and information,those elements havebecome the decisive factors in the survival and development of enterprises.Capital isthe main driving force for economic development and social progress.Capital theorywith physical capital, financial capital, human capital as the core elements,has notadapt to the needs of modern economic and social development.Modern enterpriseswhich want to stand out in the increasingly fierce social competition, must pursuemore value creation.The value creation of modern enterprise, is the pursuit ofsustainable development.So it is not only the increase of operating profit in theincome statement, but also should obtain the core competitiveness of enterprises.Toget the enterprise’s core competitiveness requires enterprises,which consider theirown development plans,to choose the strategic factor capital for their owndevelopment.This article uses the case analysis method, through the actual instance to analyzequestion, and then solve the problem, obtaining the general solution to be extended toother cases. This article,start with the elements theory,show us how to identify andmeasure the new elements capital of enterprises.Enterprises,according to their owndevelopment plan,determine appropriate strategic factors capital for themselves.Thenthis article explores the way how those capital to bring added value on theenterprises,especially the access to sustainable core competitiveness of enterprises.Italso concludes and provides advanced suggestions by the analyses.The case company is the leader in Chinese chemical industry--Wanhua.Thereason why this article chose this company as the object of study, is that the chemicalindustry is a pillar industry in modern society,and this industry relies on thedevelopment of technology.Wanhua has the only independent intellectual propertyrights of MDI manufacturing technology in China.It is the Asia Pacific region’s largestMDI supplier, and the technology leader in the chemical industry. It has a great research and application value in the field of application about technical innovationand advanced knowledge.According to the development planning of the enterprise,this article proposessuitable the strategic factor capital for its development.Wanhua proposes the plan,suchas "innovation as the core","excellent culture as the guarantee", which laid thetechnical and knowledge capital in the unique position of elements of enterprisecapital.Financial capital is the impetus for other elements of capital to play the role.Sothe strategic factor capital for Wanhua is technology capital, financial capital andknowledge capital.According to the elements theory, this article carries on therecognition,measurement of the three strategic factor capital,which this article focuseson the analysis of the market operation of.Although this article has not yet made a scientific determination about how toquantify some non-monetary resources,it can provide reference for the developmentof other similar enterprises in the field of the selection of strategic factor capital basedon value creation,especially the acquisition of the enterprise’s core competitiveness.
