Abstract:With the development of IT and economy, vending machine which also known as24hour mini-supermarket is facing a new opportunity for development in China. As a vending machine operating company aiming at Wenzhou market, how can SF seize this opportunity to develop and make a profit rapidly? The author would find out the answer through following analysis.Firstly, the author introduced the past and present of vending machine industry all around the world and reviewed some domestic and overseas articles on Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) Secondly, the author introduced the internal and external environment analysis method, PEST Analysis Method and Five-force Model and strategy formulation and decision analysis method used in the following chapter. Thirdly, the author analyzed the external and competition environment of vending machine industry in Wenzhou and internal environment of SF Company. Based on the analysis, the author summarized several influence factors and gave them weights with AHP method, then built the EFE Matrix and the IFE Matrix. With these matrixes and the development strategy guiding ideology and target of SF Company, the author built SWOT Matrix and concluded9alternative strategies, then used QSPM to rank the strategies and selected the best ones. Lastly, according to the chosen strategy to put forward the corresponding security measures.Finally, the paper concluded that facing a tremendous potential market, the SF Company could adopt following strategies:S-O strategy (including utilization of social resources, technology or low cost to seize the market), W-O strategy (including asking government for help on human resource and money, bringing in mature operation team), S-T strategy (including developing quality of service) and W-T strategy (including building market alliance to minimize competition and long-term partnership with suppliers). Comprehensively thinking, SF Company should carry out low cost and technology leading strategies in the near future. In order to carry out these strategies smoothly, the SF Company should guarantee strategy implementing in following ways: strengthening marketing and management, increasing technology input and talent’s introduction.
