XKP Company is committed to smart card studying and RFID technological innovations to provide a range of solutions for smart card applications in cities, schools, colleges, communities, and also to provide solutions for other sectors of business, including enterprises, banks and telecom operators. The company devotes its efforts to manufacturing, researching and developing, integrating smart card system platform software, application software and various smart card terminals, and offering a range of sales and operation services. As a native of private enterprise in the Chinese sector, the company has gone through hardships of establishment, growth, expansion and successful being listing throughout those years. On the one hand, going public brings precious opportunities for the development of the company. On the other hand, as a public company, we would have a higher expectation for its future. At present, the company has carried out the market plan in many fields and developed the corresponding products. But its newly cultivated performance in a new sector of the market is far from satisfactory due to the high operating costs. The problems of how to deal with the situation of development weakness, to enhance market competitiveness, and to increase profits, should be solved. Facing the complex issues, combining strategic management theory with XKP’s actual situation, this article aims to figure out the company’s next development strategy in order to establish a set of suitable, sustainable strategic management systems.This thesis has firstly made an analysis of the company’s internal and external environment, summarizing its previous successful experience and current problems. It has also made analysis of XKP’s operating environment and its own advantages and disadvantages, using the SWOT method to study the company’s strategic target, and has tried to find out a suitable strategic implement plan for its development. While also discussing the strategic risks, hopefully XKP Company’s future development will go smoothly, rapidly and stably.Through research, this thesis concluded that XKP Company has gone through hardships of establishing a business, and finally successfully became a listed company facing very good opportunities for its development, while also facing increasingly fierce competition in the market; In order to realize its sustainable development, while keeping its core business like campus card business and enterprises card business, XKP Company is ready to take active development strategy by actively promoting technological innovations in financial IC card products, NFC mobile payment products, digital campus products and city card products, and making efforts to develop domestic and overseas markets, achieving virtuous expansion as soon as possible through the acquisition and integration.
