| The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is the predecessor of P4which formed by New Zealand, Singapore, Chile and Brunei, four small countries from Oceania, Asian and Latin American. Since2008, the United States transformed the P4into the TPP and began to dominate the TPP negotiations. This action inevitably influenced the Chinese Asia-Pacific regional development strategy. How to deal with the new challenge to China and how to evaluate and respond to the influence to the regional cooperation to China in Asia-Pacific and East Asia is an important topic to Chinese government and scholars.Basing on the analysis of the motives and conditionality factors of the United States to promote the TPP, this paper focused on the analyzing of the specific influence of the United States’ actions. Additionally, the author put forward targeted strategy to China form three aspects, excepting to provide reference to the establishment of China’s foreign strategy.
