With the development of social economy, the competition of companies becomesfiercer and fiercer, among which human resource is the core factor. If a firm wants tosurvive in today’s fierce market competition, it has to grasp talents because good humanresource management contributes to the sustainable development of a firm. Therefore,modern firms must value performance appraisal. However, with the rapid development ofsocial economy, traditional performance appraisal system cannot apply to currentquick-change market competition system and it cannot satisfy the pace of the rapiddevelopment of firms.Based on the performance appraisal system of balance score card, the indexes ofperformance appraisal can be fallen into four dimensions, i.e. the finance, the client, theinternal process as well as the learning&growth. Thereby, firm’s strategic objective andperformance appraisal system can be combined together. Moreover, the whole strategicobjective of the firm can be subdivided into department’s and staff’s goals. Theestablishment of performance appraisal system based on balance score card contributes tofuture improvement and communication of performance appraisal, the increase of staff’scapability and the enhancement of firm’s competitive ability.This paper uses one Chongqing private TT real-estate company as the research objectand construct the performance appraisal system based on balance score card. First of all,this paper studies the theory about performance, performance appraisal and the balancescore card, thereby providing theoretical basis for follow-up arguments. Secondly, thispaper analyzes the problems of current performance appraisal system of the TT real-estatecompany as well as the internal and external environment of this company. Thirdly, theperformance appraisal indexes are planned based on balance score card. Moreover, thecompany’s performance appraisal and strategic objective are combined together throughthe understanding about company’s business strategy. Finally, this paper elaborates thefollow-up implementation procedure of the planned performance appraisal system of theTT real-estate company. The elaboration includes the design of the performance appraisalof the property firm’s departments, the plan of staff’s performance appraisal, theconfirmation of period of performance appraisal, the composition of the team members ofperformance appraisal, the communication and improvement of performance appraisal, etc.Furthermore, this paper also does some research and analysis about the implementing institution of the performance appraisal.The performance appraisal system based on balance score card of the TT real-estatecompany needs to be improved in the future. Through the study in this paper, I hope toprovide some references for the reformation of the performance appraisal system of otherfirm which is similar to TT real-estate firm. |
