In recent years, with economy integration and industrial structure upgrading,enterprise technical innovation will be increasingly important. Many enterprises realizethat technical innovation is the basic way of enterprise development. In order to build andconsolidate core strength, enterprises consider innovative technology as their corecompeting resource. Therefore they constantly increase investment in manpower andmaterial.However, there are many uncertainties in technical innovation. Chances of success arelow and motivation of its staff is ineffective. The author has referred to some relevantliterature, drawn lessons from theoretical research of scholars, at home or abroad and madean in-depth investigation into A company so as to push technical innovation and protectsustained, rapid and healthy growth of small business.A company is a high-tech enterprise engaged in precise copper tube material research.In recent years, it has got marked achievement in technical innovation. By a profoundanalysis and surveys, the author has found that many questions and deficiencies exist andalso analyzes the reasons for the mentioned problems.This paper puts forward some relevant countermeasures based on analyzing theseproblems. The emphases are on confirming technicians’ actual goal and carrying outperformance appraisal. An enterprise should improve the management system, keepexisting good practice in innovation incentives and perfect its motivation system.Enterprises should implement full-motivation models that highlight salary motivation toencourage technical staff to contribute more.
