Study On Industry Of Plum And Apricot In Heilongjiang Province

This paper is aiming at the problems existing in marketing, production and other fields. Theobjective is mainly providing advice on how to fully develop regional, scientific, and technologicalsuperiority and then put forward some proposals and measurements for achieving the goal in the future.The study begins from2011-2013, and it is adopted in field and interview method, choosing twomanagement level equal orchards in every region (from four parts in total: south central, southeastern,northeastern, and western) into investigation. After investigation and research, we found that the mainproblems were decentralized management of orchards, instability of quality and quantity, poorresistance ability to natural disasters, and low level of industrialization. There are various reasons likesmall scales of orchards, unreasonable variety structure, lower level in management and organizationdegree in production, serious lagging of postpartum processing, insufficient input of science andtechnology and so on. The direct result is that the influences mentioned above are necessarily affectedand limit developments of local industrialization in plum and apricot.Aiming at the problems mentioned above, this paper studied synthetically scientific managementmodes and successful experiences of domestic and overseas plum and apricot industry and their goodbasis and obvious superiorities (regions, resources, science and cultivation) in Heilong Jiang Province.This paper then analyzed the current production conditions of plum and apricot and expressed necessityof adhering to the “to adjust measures to local conditions, to grow suitable trees at suitable site’ fruitdeveloping principle. Finally, I made several recommendations to this, increasing more investments onscience and technology, breeding plum and apricot with good qualities, reforming cultivationmanagement; planning and lay-outing more reasonably and scientifically with goal to form regionaleconomics with distinctive features. And what’s more, we should emphasize storage and processingindustry development to maximize economic profits, strengthen publicity, set up our own brands anddevelop diversity plum and apricot varieties to facilitate leisure agriculture. The result of this study willdirect reasonable adjustments of rural fruit structure in practice and with the support of governmentpolicies and funds, the current scattering production will become the brand economy and pillar industryunder large scale, standardization, and industrialization.
