Research On Evaluation And Regional Differences Of Listed Company’s Performance

With the development of Chinese securities market, listed companies are becomingincreasingly important in the national economy, the operating performance of listedcompanies increasingly concerned stakeholders. In the area of investment and enterprisemanagement, how to scientifically and effectively evaluate the operating performance oflisted companies has been a hot topic. In addition, due to the imbalance of regionaldevelopment, the listed company’s operating environment is different in different regions.When people discuss how to effectively evaluate the operating performance of listedcompanies, they also want to know whether the regional factor will affect the operatingperformance of listed companies.Firstly, we set the index system through initial selection and secondary screening, Thenbased on the statistical characteristics of these evaluation indexes, we identified the weightmethod and decided to combine four comprehensive evaluation models for the evaluation ofthe operating performance of listed companies. After the data preprocessing, we evaluated theoperating performance of all the non-financial listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share market. Then based on the evaluation results, we evaluated the level of listed company’sperformance in each region. Then we tested the statistical significance of the regionaldifferences of listed company’s performance. Finally, we measured the regional differences inthe contribution to the total difference. The results show that the regional differences arestatistically significant, suggesting that the regional factor has an impact on the operatingresults of listed companies, but the contribution of the regional differences is not large,suggesting that the regional factor is not a decisive factor.
