| As China’s fist product，electromechanical products has occupied an importantposition of China’s export commodities. By the end of2010its market share in theword reached14.8%， ranking firstly. However, In actual,the electromechanicalproducts received little profit. CCCME (2013) survey results show the profit is only3%-5%. The data vividly shows that the industry is at the low position of theglobal value chain,so we can say that the industry is big but not strong and it need toupgrade. Because the past research has shown the intra product specialization cansignificantly promote industrial upgrading,so we analysised and researched china’sindustry upgrading from the perspective of intra product specialization.Firstly, this paper uses global industrial chain to build the relationship betweenthe intra product specialization and the process of industrial upgrading. Secondly, theartle tells how the intra product specialization affects the industrial upgrading indetail.Thirdly, this paper theoretically analyzes the factors that influence industrialupgrading including the intra product specialization and technology absorptioncapacity and economies of scale and foreign direct investment. Fourthly,based on theresults of theoretical analysis, the article using1998-2012data electromechanicalindustry segments empirical analysis of the impact of the products in the internationaldivision of labor capital ratio on industrial upgrading,and obtains a good result,whichshows international intra product specialization and foreign direct investment andtechnology absorption capacity and economies of scale can promote industrialupgrading, the connection between resource endowment and industrial upgrading isnot clear.According to the theoretical and empirical results, the paper proposes as followssuggests: the adjustment of industrial policy, increase research investment, guideindustrial agglomeration, and increasing foreign direct investment industries. |
