| Technology innovation strategy is an important part of enterprise development strategy, the management of technology innovation strategy is to obtain the competitiveness of sustainable development; and is to betterly use the enterprise internal resources, ability, knowledge, culture and other advantages to adapt to the changing external environment opportunities and threats, so as to beat the competitors. In this process, the external environment and the same industry different enterprises’strategic competition are the external motivation of technology innovation. The enterprise unique resources, technology, ability, knowledge, culture and other factors are the inherent constraints of technology innovation. Only when the enterprise internal resources, ability, knowledge and culture match its technology innovation activities that can help enterprises to adapt to the change of external environment, can make the enterprise to obtain the sustainable development of competitive advantage. However, because of the variability of external environment, the asymmetry of information collection and the bounded rationality of people, facing the same industry different enterprise strategic competition, the results of the technology innovation strategy implementation can’t achieve the expected effect. It must re-position the strategy implementation base on the specific expectation result and adjust enterprise strategy. Therefore, the optimal technology innovation strategy is a dynamic adjustment process with the improvement of top managers cognitive ability and constantly adapt to internal and external environment.This article focuses on the multinational enterprise ABB and analysis of ABB group since its founding. Through analyzing the ABB company achievements in technology innovation strategy management, it tries to parse the ABB group in promoting the process of globalization, surrounding its technology innovation strategy to implement a series of measurements, such as:form the global technical experts network platform from the perspective of management, develop technology innovation research in the face of a wide range of terminal clients, full support R&D collaboration organization architecture and use effective information management system, etc.. So we can obtain ABB experience of successfully promoting technical innovation strategy, and we can understand the theoretical basis and practical significance of ABB core technology positioning-high differences leading and low cost leading.Technical innovation strategy is embodied in the enterprise vision setting up and it plots the instructional design to achieve the goal, its fundamental purpose is to improve the level of corporate profits. This is more than the increase of the operation sales turnover or the enterprise products performance improvement, thus it is not limited to new product development or service enhancement, it is the most important role in the enterprise competitive position changes. It helps enterprises to find a new, more powerful foothold to establish long term competitive advantage.In this paper, we use the case analysis, PEST analysis and SWOT analysis, such as a variety of ways, mainly analyzes the ABB group from1988the year of its merging, to the follow-up more than20-year tortuous development. To understand the ABB group how to analyze the internal and external environment, combined with its own advantages and disadvantages, determined to make the technical innovation strategy and gradually adjusted its implementation of measures with the change of environment to ensure and promote technology innovation effectively, then gains its own core competitiveness in experience of marketing, win a stable market process finally. Then, we can find its support for China business development and function, thus conclude the right method of multinational enterprise technology innovation strategy management and apply to the globalization of Chinese companies.At the end of the article, we discussed the conclusion of this study, to give some suggestion to China’s enterprises on how to choose the technology innovation strategy under the background of globalization, and illustrate the shortage of this research, and then explore the development direction in further. |
