With the rapid development of our national economy, people’s disposable incomeincreases rapidly, the personal finance market has gradually become a hot spot in thefinancial institutions. According to the trend of the current regulatory market, the kinds ofthe financial products become more and more. It is difficult to choose the products withoutprofessional knowledge for the ordinary investors. So the third-party financial institutionwhich is on the customer demand-oriented has gradually attracted people’s attentions.The third-party financial institutions can screen financial products and provide theappropriate suggestions of the investment portfolio. It is the value of the third-partyfinancial institutions and is also the investors’ expectations. The third party financialinstitutions have developed maturely and occupied a large share of the personal financemarket in the developed countries. The expanding needs of the domestic market provide agood opportunity for the development of the third-party financial market.With the intense competition, the problems appeared in recent years. In order to set upthe financial consultant team quickly, many newly opened third-party financial institutionsattract talents to join through improving the products’ commission which makes thefinancial advisors being shortsighted and bring many unstable factors to the safety ofcustomer funds and the industry’s long-term development. In addition, low barriers toentry and the unfair competition make the third party financial market apart from itsoriginal intention in some areas of our country. And some of the institutions even do theillegal activities to raise funds. How to explore the suitable model for the domesticfinancial market has become a realistic problem at present for our country.This paper will explore the development of the third-party financial institutionsthrough the theories of economics, management and marketing and the methods ofliterature analysis and empirical analysis from an overall visual angle. It analyzes somekinds of management patterns of third-party financial institutions and summarizes the current status on the base of sorting out the third-party financial industry. It also use PESTanalysis method to describe the development prospects through analyzing the developmentenvironment of the domestic third-party financial institutions. Finally, it explores thedevelopment countermeasure of the third-party financial Industries and institutions throughsummarizing the external environment and internal strategic measures in order to provide areference for the third-party financial industries and institutions’ development.
