Recently, more and more people have been raising the question Ukraine’s foreign policy. You also can often hear the assertion of the priority of relations with NATO countries. However, others have talked about the possibility of Ukraine entering the European Union. The third party believes that the Ukrainian foreign policy vector must be directed toward the Russian Federation and CIS countries. Thus, Ukraine is once again faced an important choice, upon which the future largely depends. That is why the question of choice regarding strategic partners is most urgent for our country.Such issues should be approached primarily from the standpoint of ensuring national interests and taking account of the real possibilities and prospects of our country. In my opinion, one of the most profitable strategic partners of Ukraine is China. The appeal of this line of foreign policy is determined by many factors including the constantly growing political and economic weight of China in the world, as well as its number one status in the Asia Pacific. Regarding influential factors, there are some compatible technical standards and economies in both countries, in many sectors of the economy.Prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and China are very large, and their implementation is possible under certain conditions. The very fact that the government of Ukraine is very interested in the work of reformation, held in China for the withdrawal from the crisis, suggests a huge potential that lies in the mutually beneficial relations between the two countries. The diplomacy of the two countries is based on a realistic view of their national interests. Ukraine ranks second in terms of its size, and has the seventh largest population among the countries of Europe. It respects the growing role of China in today’s international relations.
