| With the rapid development of computer science and information technology, the scope of application of computer software is gradually expanding in other industries. The amount of code, the number of personnel involved, the scale of computer software has also been greatly improved, which greatly increased the complexity of computer software. Therefore, taking the computer software development as a project and use the project management theory and methodology of computer software development project management to make the project successful, is one of the major challenges the industry facing. Compared with other types of projects software projects has certain peculiarities, so software project management are also other types of project management with a clear distinction.In this thesis, NW-OS project of S company is the object of study, and based on an actual experience in the computer industry as well as project management knowledge-based theories, the software development project management process is studied deeply.This dissertation, based on an introduction to project management, especially relevant theories on software project management, researches on NW-OS software project in accordance with project management framework and with an emphasis on the progress control, quality control and risk control. In this study, an analysis of the NW-OS software project and a progress schedule are conducted. Then an analysis on the basis of PERT theory is further processed. After that, the cost and progressing of the implementation of the project is analyzed in line with earned value system. Through previous analysis, this dissertation also offers suggestions and measures to the quality control and risk control of NW-OS project.The research of this thesis not only enrich the theoretical system of software project management, but also has high practical value in improving China’s software project management level. |
