| As a green industry, the development of software outsourcing not only significantly improves the efficiency of the global economy, but also becomes the leading industry to drive economic growth in many countries and regions. In recent years, Chinese software outsourcing industry has made a great progress of development, but the overall strength is still relatively weak. The enterprise internal has many control problems, the size of the outsourcing industry is very small, and the core competitiveness needs to be improved.This thesis first expounds the basic theory of software outsourcing, and then introduces the characteristics of the ancestor of software outsourcing industry, India. Chinese labor cost is lower than India, the beginning time is similar to India, but up to now, the comprehensive strength of software outsourcing industry between China and India have a distance of ten years or so. Although Chinese software outsourcing has a weak basis, but can be seen from the analysis in this thesis, it has a broad market prospect. Now the most should do is to learn, to learn Indian advanced experience in technology and management. Before writing this thesis, I have worked at three software outsourcing enterprises for seven years. During this period I have worked as a project manager and engineering manager, I aware that these enterprises have some common faults in terms of operation management. For instance, driven by the interests, doing things that hurt reputation of the enterprise. Or do not know to finance when the enterprise face fund shortage, which caused the stagnation of the development of the enterprise. Or shout to reduce the project risk, while doing nothing, just leaving these things to project managers. Or enterprise organization structure is too bloated, which causes a serious obstacle to development of enterprises. From these four aspects, this thesis analysis the situation and harm of these problems, and finally give some useful suggestions to help the enterprise to avoid operating under wrong principles.What is the21st century the most short of? The answer is obvious, talents. Chinese software outsourcing enterprises are lack of talents. On the one hand, they are not willing to do personnel trainings. It will spend them a lot of money. What is more serious is that they can’t retain the talents, social job-hopping phenomenon is frequent. They think training do more harm than good, they would rather spend more cost to employ talents than cultivating talents. On the other hand, the domestic school education does not keep up with the pace of the development of software outsourcing. The people, who are both with high technical ability and have management skills and master a foreign language, are getting less and less. So many enterprises are facing the danger of lack of talents. This thesis starts with the description of the problem of human resources, especially, talents, employee separation rate, performance appraisal and salary management these four parts in Chinese software outsourcing enterprises. And then finds the reason why these had happened. At last, provides some advices. I hope it can help Chinese software outsourcing industry to lay a solid talent foundation. |
