Since Chinese reform and opening up30years, especially after China’s accession to WTO. Chinese economic has developed very fast. And the manufacturing industry has also been a great growth. Now, China has become the "factory of the world". At the same time, the competition is increasingly intense with the increasing foreign investment. For Chinese local enterprises, the opportunities also coexist while they face the challenges. In the new international situation, every enterprise has to face some problems, such as, how to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises themselves, to reverse the view of the people towards the products made in China from low-skill, low-quality to high-quality, and even build brand products with international influence. As the well-known management expert, Juran said:"The21st century is the century of quality". The Chinese manufacturing enterprises must develop and implement an appropriate quality strategy to enhance their competitiveness and product quality, so that the enterprises can be continuous to develop healthily, and make success in a highly competitive market.However, only a scientific quality management system can ensure the quality strategy is implemented effectively. Therefore, this thesis will analyze the quality management and quality management system as following five aspects based on S Corporation situation.Firstly, explore the development of quality management and the quality management system. And introduce the theoretical basis of the quality management system, the eight principles of quality management. Then research the structure of quality management system based on ISO9000standard, and how to establish quality management system with method of system management.Secondly, take S corporation as an example to analyze and refine how to use the system management method and process method to establish a scientific quality management system. Thirdly, analyze the implementation of effective assessment method to quality management system of S corporation.Fourthly, study how to assess and control quality level of the processes which are made in quality system. Through implementation process quality control and quality inspection, the statistic process control system can be established. To identify the key process and critical quality factors that will be under control. Based on the assessment to process performance with control chart and process capability indexes, it can find the opportunities for continuous improvement.Fifthly, the continuous improvement is considered as the most important phase of quality management system, the PDCA cycle. This thesis studies the implementation method of continuous improvement in S corporation, and emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement on product quality enhancement.This thesis shows that the establishment of a scientific and suitable quality management system is the basis of quality activities. To use process control method and emphasize quality is manufactured rather than inspected out. And it is necessary to form a corporate culture that is full participation all over company into quality continuous improvement activity and work together to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.The author hopes that the conclusion of this thesis can provide reference and contribution to the enterprises who want to establish quality management system and implement continuous quality improvement activities.
