Research On Chinese Cross-border RMB Settlement And RMB Internationalization

From the year of2009,the Cross-border RMB settlement had formally made experiments in the cities of Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzheng ect. According to the Twelfth Five-years planning programs, China will build up the RMB convertibility under capital account step by step in the next five years, promote steady reform of interest rate to better reflect market conditions, improve the system of managed floating foreign currency exchange rate, realize the internationalization of RMB. Cross-border RMB settlement is the first step in the RMB internationalization road, which will enhance Chinese ability of the sustainable development of foreign trade, realize the win-win trade and finance,these will bring profound implications. Based on the analysis of RMB cross-border settlement its background, the significance of its implementing, positive role for the import and export enterprise, this thesis reserch China’s RMB internationalization process in the presence of the unreasonable economic structure, international trade and investment, lack of influence financial system is not perfect and other constraints, to seek the response measures.At the same time, according to the dollar, euro, yen internationalization process,find the implications for the internationalization of RMB, make the cross-border RMB settlement business as a starting point, discuss the realization of RMB as " hard currency " in the form of peripheral and promoting the construction of Asian regional economy and currency area.Then,design the internationalization path on the condition of RMB as an international reserve currency and give some risk recommendations of the RMB internationalization.
