Research On The Influencing Factors Of SMEs Synergy Innovation In Cluster

Currently, global market environment is even harsh, innovation is the only way for Smalland Medium-sized Manufacturing Enterprises(SMEs) to survive or develop. Based on their ownlimitations and disadvantages of self-innovation, SMEs must cooperate with each other tightly,enjoying the advantages of innovation resources sharing. Especially SMEs in the industrialcluster, they should take advantage of the great network platform, and cooperate with other enti-tyes within the cluster actively, in order to improve competitive ability. Therefore,identificatingand studying the influencing factors of SMEs synergy innovation in cluster is essential and m-eaningful.In this paper, firstly, previous studies about the influencing factors of SMEs synergyinnovation in cluster has been summarized; Secondly, theoretical analysis in the sight ofinnovation connotation, characteristics, individuals, processes of SMEs collaborative has beenstudied; Thirdly, through the survey and statistical analysis of sample data of Ningboautomobiles and auto parts firms, empirical analysis has been done; Finally, based on empiricalresults, some suggestions to boost collaborative innovation of SMEs in the cluster have beenmade.Through these studies above, mainly conclusions in this paper are as follows:1. In order to understand collaborative innovation of SMEs in cluster deeply, connotation,characteristics, and processes have been discussed. Characteristics included: resources easy toget, risk reduced, quick communication and improved efficiency. Main part included: SMEs,universities and research institutions, other service agencies, government. The process is dividedinto its preparation stage, collaborative implementation stage, achievements sharing andfeedback stage.2. Based on the literature study and theoretical analysis, the initial influencing factorssystems has been proposed, a total of11, including four categories, namely: cluster enterprisequality(the innovation capacity of SMEs、collaborative innovation strategy of SMEs)、collab-orative innovation environment in cluster(innovation culture in cluster、 collaborative inno- vation networks in cluster)、 collaborative innovation cluster resources (capital, technology,human resource)、collaborative innovation power (market demand, market pressures, gover-nment supporting, technology diffusion).3. After factor analysis, seven common factors as new influencing factors have been got,namely: collaborative communication networks in cluster, human resources, governmentsupport, self-innovation capability of SMEs, collaborative innovation strategy of SMEs,technical knowledge diffusion and capital resources.Through correlation analysis and regressionanalysis, the following conclusions generated: collaborative communication networks in cluster,human resources, government support, self-innovation capability of SMEs, collaborativeinnovation strategy of SMEs, technical knowledge diffusion, they all have a positive effect incollaborative innovation of SMEs in the cluster except capital resources.4. Based on empirical results, some suggestions to boost collaborative innovation of SMEsin the cluster have been made, including: improving the quality of SMEs, creating a goodplatform for innovation, strengthening regulation and protection from government, meeting res-ource requirements.
