To ease the increasingly tense situation of carriage of goods, and also in response torising transportation market competition, in2006, the ministry of railways put forward theconstruction of modernization in the new period of freight loading workplaces, theconstruction of railway large loading point. Railway construction and planning of largeloading point are the foundation of the railway freight centralization and core, as well as animportant way to improve the efficiency of transportation, the level of freight productionmanagement and optimize resource capacity. Through intelligent and efficient scale operationmethod of loading system, railway large loading point has great advantages in the carriage ofgoods on organizations, and has important practical significance in promoting the leapfrogdevelopment of railway freight.At first this thesis presents the research significance, the main research contents andresearch methods, and the topics related references at home and abroad were summarized,based on this, large loading point of railway freight centralization, railway location problemsare defined relatively, and introduces multi-objective programming theory related to this topicand general location models commonly used method which provided a theoretical basis forfurther research. Secondly, analyzed the basic characteristics of the railway large loadingpoint location problem, connotation and pattern structure, and put forward important basicprinciples that must be followed in railway large loading point location model. At the sametime, comprehensively analyzed influence factor in selecting the railway large loading pointlocation and based on this, the multi-objective programming method was used to construct therailroad large loading point location model. Then, using the example simulation and Lingooptimization software to solve the location model which verified the feasibility and validity ofthe model. Finally, summarizing the research of the subject, realizing the deficiency andputting forward the problems for further study.Research results show that the location model can select the optimal railway largeloading point among many alternative large loading points on planning and construction, andmakes the cost of railway reconstruction of large loading point, the sum of fixed cost andvariable cost achieve the overall minimum, at the same time maximize customer satisfaction.Therefore, choosing this model to build railway large loading point location can not onlyeffectively reduce the total cost of large loading point construction, but also enhance thescientific rationality of railway large loading point layout planning, increase the customersatisfaction of railway freight, further promote leapfrog development of railway freight transportation.
