In recent years, Chinese industrial structure has been continuously adjusted andoptimized, and is promoting economic development further. Rational industrialstructure can promote economic development well, on the contrary it will hindereconomic development. Therefore, changes in the industrial structure have beendeemed to be an important factor affecting economic growth. Regional economy asan important part of national economy keeps steady development trend,Simultaneously, also shows different development characteristics. The listedcompanies are generally leading enterprises of regional economic development. Thereare development advantages of them compared with non-listed companies which aredifficult to reach. Their strong growth tendency is playing an increasingly active rolein regional economic development. Whether the listed companies can keep healthyand steady development is closely related with the healthy and steady development ofthe regional economy. Therefore, the study of the growth of the industrial structurechange of listed companies and their economic contribution to the region, has acertain reference value for either listed companies themselves or regional industrialupgrading and economic development.In this paper, by calculating the added value of listed companies nationwide in2001-2012years, aggregate the added value as different industries. According to theindustrial added value merge out the added value of the three major industries. Thenget the proportion of the added value of the three major industries of listed companiesin northeast, east, central, northwest and southwest region. Based on the added valueof the three major industries, analyze and explain the regional characteristics ofChinese listed companies in the industrial structure change and expand thecomparative study of the regional growth characteristics of the listed companies fromthe perspective of the changes in the regional industrial structure and theircontributions for regional economic development.The innovation of this article is to combine the dynamic characteristics of overallindustrial structure changes in regional economic development, expand holistic and regional comparative study of the growth of listed companies and explore thedevelopment characteristics and relevance from the two levels of industry structureand macro-economic development growth.
