The Study Of The Urban Agriculture Development And Regional Effect In The Karst Mountainous Area

With the development of urbanization, a lot of suburbanland inevitably was occupied, the food security and theproduction of agricultural region was affected directly orindirectly. In karst mountainous area, the efficiency ofagriculture production is very low, which is not meet the demandof sideline products for city. Some difficulties will beconquered, such is the water and soil erosion, desertificationintensifies, the contradiction between man and land prominentstatus in relief. Which will make the traditional agriculturecould adapt to modern industrialization, informatization andurbanization. Urban agriculture could meet these expectations.The Zhongshan District was selected as the study area. Theliterature monographs, research data and the Department ofagriculture statistics data as the data source, usingqualitative analysis (SWOT Thought) and quantitative analysis(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method combined with the presentsituation, development, feasibility of Zhongshan District ofurban agriculture, as well as the current the development level.Conclusions:(1) the Karst mountainous area also could developurban agriculture that owns area’s unique, realize thesustainable development of regional economic,social and ecological environment.(2) Although the Zhongshan has someadvantages of urban agriculture development, but somedifficulties need to overcome, such as the shortage ofcultivated land, the agricultural workers quality need to beto improve, he level of the whole industry and policy guaranteemechanism was also to be improved.(3) comprehensiveevaluation of agriculture value is0.65, that clock mountainurban agriculture is at the preliminary stage, there is a largegap away from the real urban agriculture to realize.(4)Zhongshan District vigorously is not only need to develop theindustry and the third industry, but also to increase theagricultural infrastructure, industry, market channel,service platform support, all that could realize thecoordinated development of economic, social and ecologicalenvironment, promote harmonious coexistence between people andnature.According to the analysis of the status of urbandevelopment, agricultural functions, spatial effect and otheraspects about the study area, the agricultural spatial layoutand development conception of Zhongshan was formed. TheZhongshan district is as the center, agricultural industrysurrounding towns will be booming, and the formation of "positive effect of lively and vigorous flourishes incalligraphy". Which aim at promoting the sustainabledevelopment of agriculture, providing the demonstration forurban agriculture in Karst mountainous area.
