Research On Industry Chain Upgrade With Knowledge Innovation In Guizhou Province

Today China is in knowledge booming time, knowledge-based economy is of greatguiding significance to enterprises. How to utilize knowledge and how to useknowledge innovation to achieve the stated goal are great decisions for enterprises. Asa resource type province, Guizhou is rich in resource, but in resource market, there aresome problems in industry chain including short industry chain, weak power ofintegration, and slow upgrade of industry chain and so on. Therefore, specialists andresearchers discussed these problems. Zhang Wei(2009) believes that, under newtechnical and economic conditions, update of resource type industry which facesfundamental changes in competitive environment can be studied from the perspectiveof industry chain of knowledge, thus overcoming resources constraints ofresource-based industries and realizing development type convert from resourcedependence to knowledge innovation.In this paper, aluminum fabrication industry chain of Guizhou Aluminum was as thestudy object. Based on comprehensive combing of relevant literature, model ofknowledge innovation, industry chain upgrade of industry chain was constructed. Theexplanatory power of knowledge innovation to industry chain upgrade wasinvestigated and their relationship was also showed. The way of collecting first handinformation was used via investigation in Guizhou Aluminum; the different years’data of enterprise was analyzed of metrology. The hypothesis proposed and theoreticalmodel were tested with regression analysis. The conclusions followed, knowledgeinnovation has positive influence on upgrade of industry chain; upgrade of industrychain is positive correlation with acquisition ability of knowledge; upgrade ofindustry chain is positive correlation with creative ability of knowledgeThe research of this paper can provide theoretical support for the update. This paperargues that in process of integration and update of industry chain, Guizhou Aluminum should invest more into knowledge innovation and pay more attention to knowledgeinnovation at all levels, and strengthen cooperation to universities and researchinstitutes trough combination of production, learn and research, thus improve theknowledge innovation ability of enterprise and provide impetus for integration andupdate of aluminum fabrication industry chain.
