Research On Performance Evaluation Of Government Investment

With the rapid development of social economy and the increasing governmentinvestment, for government investment project, the last single financial evaluationcan’t already meet demands of society. In order to evaluate the performance ofgovernment investment project more precisely, we should have a comprehensiveconsideration of economic factors, process factors, environmental and social impacts.Research on performance evaluation of Government investment project is helpful toimprove the efficiency of governmental investment, optimize the allocation ofresources, and promote the development of harmonious society.First of all, in combination with project performance evaluation research at homeand abroad, this thesis discussed method and principle for the establishment ofevaluation index system the method and principle. According to the specific projectexamples, a specific classification index system was established, by considering theproject process, project management, project output and performance, as the basis forfurther performance evaluation.Secondly, based on the analytic hierarchy process, combining with the specificengineering practice, this thesis built the project performance evaluation model, andstudied the influence of many factors to the result of performance evaluation. This hasimportant reference significance for similar projects.Then, based on entropy Measure, a new model of performance evaluation forengineering projects was built. The two projects were evaluated again by using thismodel. The logical framework approach was introduced, and the three projects wereevaluated and analyzed by this method.At last, this paper put forward the research directions in the future.
