Since the later period of the first revolution of science and technology in the late18th century and the first half of the19th century, international industry shift, in turn,has experienced four development tide, the fourth wave of international industrialtransfer begin in the1990s, mainland China undertake most of the foreign transfer ofmanufacturing industry, which laid the international status of China as the world’smanufacturing power. In the fourth wave of international industrial transfer, countriesand regions have established various forms of industrial park, to promote domesticindustry development; in order to improve the international competitiveness ofnational or regional industry, therefore, all countries or regions need to explore theselection of what kind of industry to undertaker.This paper has studied the industry correlation effect of undertaking industrytransfer in Hunan province. on the basis of elaborating the studies of issues relating toindustry transfer and industry associations by the scholars both at home and abroad,first of all, this paper introduces the concept of industry transfer and various theoriesof industrial transfer. Secondly, from the time dimension, analyzes the development ofindustry relevance theory mainly from three aspects like the germination, emergenceand development of industry relevance theory; Analyzes the factors that influence theindustry correlation effect, through the study we can see strategic impact inundertaken industries, the position and industry characteristics of transferredindustries in the system of migration property, the competitiveness of the localenterprises themselves are the main factors affecting the industrial connection effect.On the introduction of the general industry transfer, industry correlation effect theory,introduces the analysis method and basic tools of industry correlation effect. thirdly,on the basis of theoretical analysis, use the analysis method and the basic tools ofindustry correlation effect, combined with the inputoutput table of2007in Hunanprovince, deeply analysis the industrial connection effect of industries in Hunanprovince; Finally, according to the result of analysis and combined with thecompetitive industries of Hunan province and its national development priority zoneslocalization, analyze what kind of industry Hunan should undertake. The purpose of this study is to get a clear understanding of the strength ofindustry correlation effect in Hunan province, and combining the advantage industry,from the industry reality of Hunan province, conforms of industry selection policy tothe situation, promote the healthy development of undertaking transfer industry andthe traditional advantage industry, pushing forward the development of relatedindustries. At the same time, it is of great practical significance for the choice ofundertaking appropriate transferred industry of Hunan province, to drive and promotethe upgrading of industrial structure and economic development in Hunan province,the revitalization of the district economy, increase the status and competitiveadvantage of Hunan province’s economy across the country even the world economy.
