A New Round Of Western Development Under The Background Of Chongqing To Undertake The Eastern Industry Transfer Of Empirical Research

In ten years of western development, western regions economy got rapidly development.As the country carry out the policy of in-depth implementation of the western, Westernregions meet the new historical opportunity. At the same time, Chongqing play an importantrole in the national strategy of coordinated development of regional economy, its UndertakingEastern Industrial Transfer’s development will be the key point.After finish arrangement of the domestic and foreign research on industrial transfer inthis paper, found that foreign research on industry transfer theory research started earlier andtheory system is more comprehensive than China, but many of the foreign research onindustrial transfer research is focused on the theoretical analysis. They pay less attention toquantitative analysis of industrial transfer. In this paper, the author uses the econometricsmethod, under the industrial economics and the regional economic theory foundation, toanalysis the industry transfer choice strategy of Chongqing’s Undertaking Eastern IndustrialTransfer, in order to provide some theoretical basis and practical experiences on domesticindustry transfer choice strategy.In the present study, this article do a lot of data analysis on Chongqing’s industrystructure and Chongqing’s undertaking the industry transfer, the results shows that: the currentChongqing’s industry structure is still unreasonable to Chongqing’s employment structure,and this situation have great room for improvement. Chongqing undertaking other area’sindustrial transfer increase rapidly, but both the total amount of industrial transfer andindustrial transfer’s contribution to economy growth are still small. Economic developmentwithin Chongqing have big gap between difference areas, urban and rural structure is stillprominent.In the industrial transfer’s empirical study, this paper chooses to five provinces and twoCities municipality directly under the central government, which invest more than other areasin Chongqing. Under the decrease industry transfer consideration，this paper analysis thisseven region’s38industries. Using Principal component analysis and DEA super efficiencyanalysis method to find out Chongqing’s advantage industry. Based on the empirical considerabove. We can work out Chongqing undertake Eastern industrial transfer’s strategic choice.The empirical results show that, the eastern Yangtze River Delta region, Beijing andShandong have more obvious trend to transfer the labor-intensive industry, the Pearl RiverDelta has less transfer trend, because the industrial transfer always happened inside this areas. Chongqing’s comparative advanced industries are: Processing of Food from AgriculturalProducts, Manufacture of Beverages, Manufacture of Tobacco, Manufacture of Textile,Manufacture of Leather, Fur, Feather and Related Products, Manufacture of Medicines,Smelting and Pressing of Nonferrous Metals, Manufacture of General Purpose Machinery,Manufacture of Transport Equipment, Manufacture of Electrical Machinery and Equipment,Manufacture of Transport Equipment.There is interactive relation between undertaking industrial transfer and economicdevelopment. In undertaking industrial transfer Chongqing should pay attention to the followpoints: Improve the investment environment, Optimize industry development mode etc, Toattract the eastern industrial transfer, so that Chongqing’s economy will have sustained rapidgrowth.This paper’s research, not only have certain effect for Chongqing’s UndertakingEastern industrial transfer, but also have certain reference significance to other west regions ofChina to undertake eastern industrial transfer and make the industry transfer choice strategy.
