| Since the reform and opening, our country has achieved rapid economic growth,but also appeared such new problems as high investment, high emissions, highpollution, high cost, low efficiency, and the gradually expand income gap, insufficientdomestic effective demand, the third industry slow development, the regional gap isobvious, scientific and technological progress is slow. Aiming at the above problems,our government proposed "to realize sound and rapid development of nationaleconomy, the key is in the transformation of the pattern of economic development,perfecting the system of socialist market economy has made significant progress", andwrites it to the Outline of the People’s Republic of China on the12th five year plan fornational economic and social development. Accordingly, we can say, transform theeconomic development way put forward by the government is the important strategicmeasures of solving realistic problems appeared in the process of China’s economicdevelopment under the guidance of the contemporary mainstream developmentconcept, its ultimate goal is to achieve sound and rapid development of nationaleconomy in our country. Population development problem has always been the coreissue of economic development, it is not exist in isolation, and it’s always intertwinedwith economic development and social development. Left the human development, allforms of development will lose the meaning of its existence; the ultimate goal ofsocial and economic development is to realize people’s development, and the humandevelopment has some certain degree of influence to the development of socialeconomy. Therefore, research on the impact of population development to thetransformation of economic development patterns in Gansu province has veryimportant significance for the making of the population development policy and theeconomic development policy in Gansu province in future.This paper mainly discusses the influence of the population development to thetransformation of economic development patterns from three aspects in Gansuprovince: one is to analyze the goal of economic development pattern transformationin our country and the corresponding theory basis, establishes the evaluation analysisframework of China’s economic development mode shift effect, in order to evaluate the effect of the transformation of economic development patterns and further analysisof population development impact on its effect in Gansu province; And conduct anempirical analysis about the influence of the population development to thetransformation of economic development patterns in Gansu province; Three is putforward the countermeasures and suggestions of the population policy and economicpolicy in Gansu province, it’s aim is to promote economic development mode shiftand make the population system and the economic system coordinated development.Around the theme, this article discusses it by seven chapters:The first chapter, introduction, introduced the research background significance,train of thought and innovation point and analyzed the related literature at home andabroad; The second chapter mainly based on the relevant research and analysis ofeconomic theory, concluded the theory mechanism of the population developmentimpact on the transformation of economic development patterns; The third chapterformed the preliminary understanding of the population development situation inGansu province through analyzed the present situation of population development inGansu province; Fourth chapter determined the goal of the economic developmenttransformation and also the theory framework of assessing the economic developmentpattern transformation effect in our country, through analyzed the economicdevelopment theory and the reality problem of China’s economic development. On thebasis, constructed the index system, collected the data and analyzed the status quo ofthe economic development mode transformation in Gansu province, and then, formedthe overall status of Gansu province economic development mode shift; Fifth chapterhas chosen the population development indicators and collected the relevant data isassociated with economic development, carried on the empirical analysis to thepopulation development impact on the economic development mode transformation inGansu by using the method of co-integration analysis and granger causality test; Onthe basis of above analysis, chapter6formed the conclusion of this article; Seventhchapter put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for thisarticle conclusion.These three points is the leading conclusion in this paper: 1. The main contribution of the improvement of the human cultural quality to theeconomic development mode shift in Gansu province is it’s improved the labor skillsof ordinary workers, and improved the worker labor efficiency, at last promotedeconomic efficiency, and the resulting surplus labor transfer promoted therationalization of industrial structure in Gansu province. But due to the outflow oftalent resources, production factors market mechanism is not sound, the existence ofexcessive capital investment and other factors, lead to the effect of the human culturalquality improvement is not obvious in such as the levels increase of economic benefit,the improve of science and technology, the improve of resources and environmentalbenefits, and the rise of people’s living standards.2. The main contribution of labor population proportion change is the labor forcesupply increase reduced the labor costs, improved the economic benefits of the Gansuprovince, as well as the increased Labor supply intensifies the competition for limitedjobs between workers, thus promote the improvement of economic efficiency inGansu province. The labor not full employment caused by the lack of effectivedemand, excessive capital investment and other issues, lead to its effect are notsignificant in promote scientific and technological progress, push forward theindustrial structure adjustment and improve the people’s living standards.3. The insufficient effective demand caused by the decline of natural populationgrowth rate is proved have significantly negative effect for the improvement ofeconomic efficiency in Gansu province; it inhibited people’s living standards improve.But at the same time, it also exacerbated the employment competition, thus promotedthe labor force transferring to the tertiary industry. |
