The Impact Study Of Knowledge Conversion Abilities On Technological Innovation Performance: Based On Auto Parts Industry Of Ningbo

As one of the most important intellectual activities and a key element of knowledge management, knowledge conversion has a certain impact on innovation performance. In this paper, combined with the characteristics of Ningbo auto parts industry, we do a empirical study on how knowledge conversion abilities impact the technical innovation performance, and we hope it can provide a reference for auto parts enterprises of Ningbo.Based on the theory of knowledge spiral and combined with the innovation theory, we analysis the relationship among four different types of knowledge conversion abilities and technological innovation performance. We set innovative culture as an intermediate variable, and propose the metrics of knowledge conversion abilities, innovative culture, technological innovation performance, then make a hypothetical model about relationship between knowledge conversion abilities and technological innovation performance. We survey71auto parts enterprises of Ningbo using questionnaire, and verify that knowledge conversion abilities have positive impacts on techn ological innovation performance, the main results as follow:First, socialization, externalization, combination, internalization as four modes of knowledge conversion abilities, all have positive impacts on innovative culture. Innovative culture and knowledge conversion abilities are closely related, the stronger knowledge conversion abilities is, the stronger innovative culture is. In the era of knowledge economy, if an enterprise wants to develop quickly, it must focus on how to improve knowledge conversion abilities.Second, knowledge conversion abilities have positive impacts on technological innovation performance. In order to raise innovation level, enterprises must strengthen abilities of socialization, externalization, combination and internalization. Technological innovation performance will be improved when our enterprises raised knowledge conversion abilities.Third, innovative culture is an intermediate variable between the relationship of knowledge conversion abilities and technological innovation performance. Knowledge conversion abilities affect innovative at first, after that innovative culture affect technological innovation performance. Innovation is very important for an enterprise; enterprises will be invincible in the competition only if establishing a strong innovative culture.
