| In this information age, the rapid development of computer and the widespreaduse of Internet promote the development of online bank. Online bank is a new wayfor financial service, which has the advantage of developing new customers,stabilizing the customers’ resource, enhancing service speed, lowering the cost ofservices, and improving its market competitiveness. Comparing with bigcommercial bank, the city commercial bank has a late start in online bank business,but its customers and transactions are in continuous increasing. Thus, this study hasvery important guiding and practical significanceThis essay will take Quanzhou bank as the object of study, and systemically studythe concrete strategies to develop its online bank business. Firstly, by analyzing thedevelopment and constraints of online bank business for city commercial banks, aswell as comparing the online bank business between these big commercial banksand city commercial banks, we will get the deficiency of Online bank business forQuanzhou bank; secondly, we will analyze the internal advantage and disadvantage,and the external opportunities and threats of online bank business for Quanzhoubank, thus propose the corresponding countermeasure. Thirdly, by combining theinternal and external analysis, we will propose how to expand the online bankbusiness for Quanzhou bank, and how to ensure the implementary of these strategies.Lastly, by employing analysis hierarchy process (AHP), we can rank these strategiesin the order of importance: increasing the microfinance business, expanding financemanagement and investment business, completing the payment process of onlinebank, providing the credit service, and then developing international settlement.The study can provide theoretical basis for Quanzhou bank to expand its onlinebank business, improve the development of its online bank business, enhance itsmarket competitiveness, and increase its role in the economic development ofQuanzhou. Besides, this study can also provide reference function for other citycommercial banks to develop and improve their online bank business. |
