High turnover of employees of the hotel has been the concern of academics. Hotel latenttalent drain phenomenon is special in loss phenomenon, not only restricts the development ofthe hotel industry, but also restricts the development of higher vocational hotel management; itis a waste of educational resources.In this paper, higher vocational education as the research perspective, through literatureresearch and survey we find the potential loss caused by hotel personnel found the followingreasons: the interest of candidates and career choice; the poor internship experience; whenstudents find a job, job positioning themselves too high, the real reason for the gap is too low;own ability and enterprise requirements do not match.Based on these issues, I recommend: strengthen career education and learn to applyprofessional education, as well as apply for additional transfers on a voluntary professional tablein compulsory education; clearly school training objectives, training ability hotel is extremelystrong, with a sense of service and management potential of highly qualified personnel;concerned about industry trends and adjusts teaching arrangements; encourage theory and skillsof teachers to learn from each other; before the creation of the new curriculum, teachers tellingthe students "Why to study this course ";career guidance throughout the entire studentvocational career and employment conducted around the mouth; simulated company system,increasing student work experience, and promote students’ ability to match business needs withregular rotation, improve their overall strength; develop service-oriented awareness education;emphasis on training venue construction; carefully chosen internships companies andestablished long-term cooperative relations. Aimed at improving students’ skills and professionalquality, training meets the needs of the hotel industry talents; Increase employment and highervocational hotel management professional students employment stability; For higher vocationalhotel management professional of choose and employ persons the matching development of theenterprise.
