Research On The Development Of Facilities Agriculture In Xinjiang

China is a big developing agricultural country, that shows more population，lessarable land and backward technology. So solving the issue of agriculture, famer andrural area is a key of our party’s work and increasing famers’ income is the core ofthe issue of agriculture, famer and rural area. Turning traditional mode of agriculturalproduction into modern mode of agricultural production, improving the condition ofagricultural production and the production efficiency of agriculture is the key topromote the increasing of famers’ income continuously. As an important form ofmodern agricultural development, facility agriculture has been shaped into anintensive agriculture that has the main characteristics of capital-intensive,technology-intensive and labor-intensive in the way of collecting land, capital,technology and labor. This kind of intensive agriculture can enhance thecomprehensive agricultural production capacity and the adjustment of agriculturalindustry structure, promote the transformation of the mode of agricultural production,increase famers’ income continuously and strengthen the efficiency of resourceutilization. Therefore, it is an effective way to solve the issue of agriculture, famerand rural area, and an urgent need to speed the change of the rural labor force.Xinjiang Turpan is a typical mat basin which has the lowest lying and thehighest temperature in summer in our country. It located in the eastern TianshanMountain, belongs to the continental desert climate that has a long sunshine time andadequate resources of light heat. It is also dry and hot. This advantage of naturalresources is conductive to the rapid development of facility agriculture in Turpanarea. At this time, water resource in Turpan is too insufficient to maintain the rapiddevelopment of agriculture. As the most efficient water saving mode of production,facility agriculture has obvious development advantage in Turpan. Developingfacility agriculture to reach the water saving destination and using water savingirrigation project can provide more water to many other industries which are alsoshort for water, such as the mining industry. Therefore, Turpan area come up with aseries of effective development strategy, such as” strengthen agriculture”” enhanceindustry” and “activate water”. Developing facility agriculture is not only a key pointof strategy in Turpan area, but also an inevitable choice of economic development.Turpan area began to vigorously promote the facility agriculture in2009, andsee it as the main direction for future development. Although Turpan has achievedcertain effect in the speed, scale and benefit of facility agriculture, comparing with other area, it still has many restrictive factors to affect the development of facilityagriculture, such as backward agricultural infrastructure, single product variety, lowproduction efficiency, low content of science and technology, and insufficientinvestment. Therefore, this article concludes the overall situation and the presentsituation of the development of facility agricultural in Xinjiang Turpan, and analyzesmany varieties of issues in the process of the development of facility agriculture.Then, on the basis of concluding facilities agricultural development experience ofdomestic and foreign, this article used SWOT to analyze the advantage, disadvantage,opportunity, venture and restricting factors, which are evitable on the road of thedevelopment of facility agriculture in our local area. To solve the problem of facilityagriculture in our local area, this article provides many useful suggestions that aregood for the development of facility agriculture in Turpan. Such as improving thescientific and cultural quality of famers, formulating preferential policies, broadeningthe financing channels, creating green brands, improving the quality of scientific andtechnical personnel. We should learn the high efficient utilization of agriculturalresources and the high effective agricultural research methods and technologymanagement from facility agriculture developed country, in order to promote thepractice of agricultural science and technology innovation project, enhance thesustainable development of facility agriculture in Turpan area and accelerate theprocess of agricultural modernization.
