| With the continuous increase of the global population and the continuous expansion of the economy scale, people have a deeper understanding on the environment problems that results from all kinds of energy use and the causes of producing these problems. Particularly, after the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen finished, the concept of low carbon has been taken fully into account. As the most large developing country, China’s mission is so heavy to fulfill energy saving and emission reduction, and the something urgent has to be done. At present, in all industries, carbon dioxide emissions in the first three are respectively electric power industry, building industry and transportation industry.Confronted with the fact that transportation industry is the one of the biggest field in carbon dioxide emissions, an important way to realize the energy saving and emission reduction is to employ low carbon transport. In the transport systems, transportation cost is the most important constitution of logistic cost, and calculating result of transportation cost will directly affect standard made of transportation price and strategy selected of transportation price fixing, at the same time, business efficiency of the enterprise in manufacturing industry field and the impact on society or individual at different transportation ways are also affected directly. Therefore, coincident with considerding low carbon transportation, we should yet pay attention to how economic cost and time cost affect transportation industry. Container joint sea-and-rail transportation is a way that is upper main in multimodal transportation. Carbon emissions and transportation cost of joint sea-and-rail transportation differ from carbon emissions and transportation cost of joint sea-and-road transportation in different transportation modes and transportation organization form. Consequently, through respectively discussing low carbon character and economy character of container joint sea-and-rail transportation, different modes of container joint sea-and-rail transportation was able to be more comprehensively and objectively analysed.In the paper, through calculating carbon emissions and transportation cost of container joint sea-and-rail transportation at different modes, carbon emissions and economy character of container joint sea-and-rail transportation at different modes were analysed; container joint sea-and-rail transportation at different modes were comprehensively compared and analysed by three quotas that consist of carbon emissions, economy character and time cost, finally, using the way of multiple target optimal decision, it was acquired how modes of container joint sea-and-rail transportation were selected at different situations. |
