The Research Of Strategy To Implement RMB Internationalization In Southeast Asia Region

This thesis analyzed the feasibility and necessity of RMB international-ization, and then made the points that RMB internationalization shouldbe implemented in precedence from Southeast Asia region, meansregionalization in the region. After the points, holistically analyzed theopportunities and challenges to implement the regionalization, proposedthe principles, the three-step methods and the detailed action plans,including Trade further driving, Currency settlement system building,Foreign direct investment(FDI), Bank branches network building andOn-shore, off-shore financial center building. Then put forward thefeasible solutions for Shanghai to move RMB regionalization inSoutheast Asia forward. At last come up with national policyrecommendation.
