Internationalization Of The Rmb Strategic Studies

At current stage, the rudimentary conditions for RMB internationalization have been ready, So, the conclusion can be drawn that RMB's on the way to internationalization and we must put forward necessary reform and policy measures to promote the progress of RMB's internationalization. If we cannot deal with RMB internationalization and a series of relevant problems brought from this very well, it will affect Chinese economic development negatively. With the current changes of the international monetary and financial situation as well as the development trend of the regional monetary and financial cooperation in East Asia, we theoretically reflect the issue of the RMB internationalization. We proposed the idea that RMB should go on the way that regionalization first, and conducted a preliminary analysis on the necessity, possibility and strategic options of the regionalization and the internationalization of RMB.The thesis begins from basic theories of currency internationalization, analyses The East Asian regional monetary cooperation progress, difficulties and draw the conclusion that necessity, possibility and significance of China's participation in East Asian currency cooperation, then carries on theoretical and empirical analysis to the relevant problems of the regionalization and internationalization of RMB. In the theoretical study and strategy recommendation part, the article analyses mainly the necessity and possibility of the internationalization of RMB; puts forward advice on the corresponding aspects such as the free convertibility of the RMB, market-oriented interest rates, exchange rate flexibility, offshore establishment of the RMB market and improvement of the domestic financial system. Then we inspected the possibility of the construction of the East Asia regional monetary system.
